Which track links are accepted on Groover?
To share your track on Groover, you are required to add a YouTube, SoundCloud, or Audiomack link.
- The link can include video, or be audio-only
- If the track is unreleased, you can still send it on Groover (here’s how)
A Spotify track link is optional, but recommended, especially to send to playlist curators.
How do I send unreleased tracks on Groover?
You can send unreleased tracks via unlisted, embeddable YouTube links, SoundCloud private links, or Audiomack private links. Just remember to add the expected release date (or leave it blank if you’re not sure when the release date is).
Please use one of the following links for an unreleased track:
- An unlisted and embeddable YouTube link (not a private link!)
You cannot use a private link on YouTube — it must be embeddable. To ensure your link is embeddable:
- Go to https://www.youtube.com/my_videos
- Ensure visibility is set to “Unlisted”. If not, click the dropdown and switch it to “Unlisted”.
- Click on your video > scroll down > click “Show more” > go the “License” section > ensure “Allow embedding” is enabled:
- Go back to https://www.youtube.com/my_videos > hover over the video > click the “…” > click “Get shareable link”:
2. A private, shareable SoundCloud link
Go to your track > click the Share icon directly underneath the track > copy the link:
3. A private Audiomack link
Common issues with track links
- Make sure you’re using a SoundCloud, YouTube, or Audiomack track link (not an album, playlist, or artist link).
- If you’re having issues with your SoundCloud link:
- If your link contains a “?” — remove the question mark and everything after it (e.g. https://soundcloud.com/lecouleur/nunca-sera-1?in=lecouleur/sets/lecouleurpop ⇒ https://soundcloud.com/lecouleur/nunca-sera-1)
- Make sure it’s not a SoundCloud Go+ link
- If you’re having issues with your Spotify link:
- Check that it starts with https://open.spotify.com/track/…
- Make sure you’re copying it the right way. Click on the “…” on the right side of the title of the track > Share > Copy link to Song:
What happens if I already sent an incorrect link?
You have 2 options:
- You can change this yourself by going to “My campaigns” > click on the track name > “Edit track info” > then edit the track field and save:
- Contact us by using the chat icon in the lower-right corner of the screen and send us the name of your track with the correct shareable link. We can swap them rapidly!
